Choosing Coloured Contact Lenses

If you want a fun way to change the look of your entire face, consider using coloured contact lenses. These interesting lenses come in all kinds of colours and shades, and some of the best contact lens brands offer coloured contact lenses that you can choose from. There are some things that you should consider when choosing coloured contact lenses.

First off, if you use prescription contacts, you’ll obviously have to find coloured contact lenses in your prescription. You can also use non-prescription lenses under your glasses if you want a way to make your eyes pop even under your glass lenses. If you do use prescription lenses, though, you won’t have the option of popping them out if they become uncomfortable. For this reason, it’s a good idea to go with a good brand that you trust for your normal contacts so that your coloured contact lenses are comfortable all day.

If you don’t need lenses for your prescription but are just going to buy coloured contact lenses for the fun of it, you should also try a few different brands until you find one that works well for you. You are, after all, messing with your eyes, which are some of your body’s most sensitive organs, so it’s important that you don’t put things in them that are going to end up being scratchy or otherwise painful.
Finally, don’t forget to think about the color. If you have light colored eyes, you’ll be able to choose just about any colored contact lenses. If, on the other hand, you have dark eyes, you’ll have to be more careful about the new colors you choose.
